Great stay overall! The room was spacious and modern, perfect for relaxing. Loved the gym facilities and the friendly bar staff made my evenings enjoyable. Just be careful with the escalated prices on breakfast. It felt a bit steep at 25 EUR.

Stay here and enjoy your Essen weekend. The rooms offered are new-fashioned and silent with ironing board as well as free fruit. The location is reasonable, a wide range of restaurants and bars nearby. Ruettenscheid district is worth looking into. The hotel's restaurant is good for dinner.

Hotel opened in Jan 10 so very new and clean. Perfect location for attending Events since hotel is on the East side of halls. Rooms were excellent. Junior staff members still need a bit of training otherwise staff helpful

Very friendly, professional and unobstrusive staff. The room, while not huge, was exactly big enough to be comfortable, and well equipped. Excellent bath room. Tea kettle present in the room. We were here during the Spiel fair in the messe, and they had conference rooms available where we could play games after hours. On the last day, after checkout, they let us store our luggage until the fair had ended. If they're this cheap again next year, I'll definitely stay here again.
Breakfast was not included and hideously expensive. We brought our own breakfast. Also, wifi was only available in public areas, not in the rooms. And that public wifi didn't work for my (Android) smartphone. On the other hand, the lobby had public PCs you could use, which helped a lot.

Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, great deco.
for such a modern hotel it was weird they didn't have WIFI in the rooms. They did have internet but only with an ethernet cable. They also had WIFI available in the 6th floor bar, but still...
